I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience! This salon was actually the very first place I went for my trial, and from that moment I knew I didn’t need to look anywhere else. I immediately felt comfortable and confident with Margeaux’s work.

The whole booking process was incredibly easy and smooth, and I really appreciated the follow up emails leading up to the wedding. It made everything feel organised and stress free, which means so much when you’re planning a wedding.

On the wedding day, they arrived right on time (even a bit early) and brought such a calm, positive energy with them. They did hair and makeup for me, my three bridesmaids, and my mum, and they were so patient and attentive with everyone. Their kindness and professionalism genuinely helped reduce a lot of the stress of the morning.

To be honest, I was feeling quite overwhelmed that day, as many brides do. But the moment I saw myself in the mirror after they finished, it was like all my stress melted away. I finally felt like a bride.

It was also an extremely hot day, and I was sweating most of the day. My skin usually sweats a lot, especially on my face, which is why I normally avoid heavy foundation because it never sits well on my skin. After hours of outdoor photos in the sun and a lot of sweating, I was honestly expecting my makeup to be ruined or my foundation to look cakey.

But when I checked in the mirror later, I was completely shocked in the best way my makeup still looked as if it had just been done. Nothing had moved. It was absolutely flawless.

I truly couldn’t be happier with my choice. I keep looking back at my photos and loving how everything turned out. I was so happy with my makeup that at the end of the night I didn’t even want to take it off!

The experience from start to finish was top notch - easy to book, confirmations/reminders sent, friendly consulation and a perfect outcome. Asked good questions, and really listened to what I wanted while also able to use her own knowledge to give me a perfect face and hair - I got lots of compliments and it all lasted well through the whole wedding.
