Just absolutely fabulous. We had booked Hair & Make Up for an event and it was just the most relaxing, enjoyable pre-event ever. Margeaux came to us and she was organised, open to our ideas and able to make those ideas a reality on us so we looked FAB! Thank you Margeaux for your artistry and grace.

Margeaux is just pure magic to be around. The standard stuff: Margeaux did my hair and make up for my civil wedding ceremony. It looked phenomenal. Both my hair and make up survived a biblical-level torrential downpour that occurred later in the day, so I can confirm without a doubt that if Margeaux performs these services for you, you WILL be serving full glam for at LEAST seven hours.
The more memorable part of my experience: I had a bit of a menty b when Margeaux put my veil in for me. The stress of the weather and the realisation of 'girl I'm getting married in HALF AN HOUR, I'm not just planning this wedding anymore' hit me out of nowhere once that veil went on. All of my emotions manifested in ugly sobbing (with excitement, I must reassure the people reading this). Margeaux was so sweet and tender with me, comforting me and getting excited with my family and I. She really put my mind at ease and helped me get my shit back together in a very calm, passive and thoughtful way.

To say the Distinctive Dame only offers hair and make up services would be to sell short the entire experience I had. Margeaux is part hype-woman, part counsellor, part philosopher, part anthropologist and 100% the BEST hair stylist and make up artist you could hope to have in your corner on your wedding day. You just have to book with her.
